Amica Mutual Insurance Co. has been ranked highest in customer satisfaction among national auto insurers for an 11th consecutive year, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 National Auto Insurance Study released today.

The ranking is based on a survey of more than 25,000 auto insurance customers who were asked to rate their primary insurance companies on five factors: interaction, policy offerings, billing and payment, price and claims. Amica earned top scores in all five areas, scoring 849 out of 1,000 possible points in the customer satisfaction index ranking. The industry average score was 777.

Amica Mutual Insurance Co. has again been ranked highest in customer satisfaction among national home insurers – for the ninth straight year – according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 National Homeowners Insurance Study&#8480 released this week.

The ranking is based on a survey of more than 12,900 homeowners who were asked to rate their satisfaction with their homeowners insurance companies in five categories: interaction, policy offerings, billing and payment, price and claims.

“Amica Mutual ranks highest for a ninth consecutive year among homeowners insurance companies and performs particularly well in all five factors that contribute to overall customer satisfaction,” according to J.D. Power and Associates.

“We’re pleased to be among a handful of companies whose satisfaction scores increased this year,” DiMuccio said.

Amica earned 849 out of 1,000 possible points on the customer satisfaction index ranking, climbing seven points from 2009. The average point score among all insurance companies was 750.
